Book Discussion – February White Lies – Book Two

Such a painful read.

As always Love-bugs, spoilers are a strong possibility so if you haven’t yet read this book, please go read it and come back to tell me what you thought.

Now onto the discussion…

Guys, this was hard to read. It had nothing to do with the length of the story but the writing. It is clear the author wanted to write a short story or novella. The length gives that away, but in the process of doing so she rushed to tell us a story.

Again I ask, where is the mystery?

This is a mystery series yet I’m get a story told at hyper speed. I felt absolutely nothing for these characters. There’s no time to. Things are said out of context and make no sense.

This story was just all over the place. I feel like this needed to be fleshed out a lot more. Everything from the story, the characters to the theme were not plot out well enough. When I read I want to connect to the story and the characters and I just read this story so I could finish and give a review.

This all leads me with a sense of dread for the next two books in the series which are on my tablet, meaning I just have to read them.

What did you guys think? Leave a comment and let me know.
