Let’s just get to the point Love-bugs,
As always, spoilers are a strong possibility, so if you haven’t read this book, go read it and come back to tell me what you thought.
Now onto the discussion…
Guys, I gave this book three stars but it was a pretty decent story but there were so many small errors that kind of bugged me and usually when I’m so into a story I barely notice when something is spelled wrong or when the author puts a word when they clearly meant something else. I could help but notice them in this book and they irked me.
Guess that means I just wasn’t that into it.
It’s also supposed to be a mystery and I’m having a little trouble finding the mystery here. The book was 102 pages and during that time we learned that an old wealthy lawyer learns that he has a son he never knew about. A man appears in town and watches his building. He asks the local obituary writer to befriend him to try and figure out of he is indeed his son. Someone tries to run him down in a car to get him out of the way so he doesn’t inherit the wealthy guys millions. In all of that, nothing was mysterious about it.
The author had several opportunities to flesh this story out and make it truly interesting and mysterious but she blew each one.
It was a decent enough read.
What did you guys think? Let me know in the comments.
