Cover Wars #2

Hey 133 followers,

So, about a year ago, or so, I was thinking about changing my book cover and I brought some options to you guys and you voted and gave me your option. Well, I need you again.

I am about a little over half way through with my first draft to the second book in The Five Sisters series. Of course, I can’t shut my brain off and I’m already thinking about the cover. What I think is so fabulous about self publishing is I can change my book cover as often as I want (not recommended but hey) I want to get it right and unfortunately I have not had the best of luck with getting ANY help when it comes to my book that includes but is not limited to, editing, cover design, beta reading and street teams. I am literally all alone in this. Which means that designing my cover has fallen on my shoulders and my shoulders alone. It has been very difficult getting the idea I have in my mind out in the world.

With that being said, I want to finally nail down what the covers for this series will look like in time for the release of the second book (which is not for awhile).

That’s where you guys come in. I created a couple of new options to go along with the already existing designs that I created. I’m looking for your votes and honest opinions, and hey if you know of a good cover designer who won’t break the back (unemployed remember) and who won’t flake on me, then drop their info in the comments.

Now, I will give you each of the covers along with what I was thinking when I thought it up. Remember: VOTE, VOTE, VOTE. Thanksss. P.S. Click on each image if you need a closer view.

This cover was done moments before the release. The thought was to show the sisters over the background of NYC where the sisters live and a wiccan symbol to show that it is a paranormal.

This cover was done with the idea of showing one of the sisters (the woman that the first book centers around). The light symbolizes the Power.

The Five Sisters Power Front Cover2

Again each book centers around one of the sisters. This cover was done to represent the power of that sister and the symbol as well.

The Five Sisters Power

Each sister has a unique eye color. I wanted to show that which each cover displaying a different one to represent the sister in question. Side note: the color of their eyes is basically a separate character.

The Five Sisters Power (1)

Something simple. Five girls and possibly a wiccan like symbol.

Okay, there you have it. You guys have no idea how much I want to share with you which cover I absolutely love but I don’t my bias to affect your decisions. The last two photos have images that have not been purchased. So if you see a stamp there, I am aware. I am not going to purchase anything until I have settled on my cover theme. Won’t make that mistake again.

I can’t wait to hear from you guys.

  1. The second one, the blue cover caught my attention first. It’s impressive you created these on your own. Best of luck!
