Website VS Blogsite

Not the best title, I know.

I created a website around the beginning of this year. It was for an assignment for school. I wasn’t too familiar with WordPress so I used Wix.com to create my site. Because this was something I wanted to use for my professional career, I paid the whole subscription fee to make my site active.

I have been actively blogging for a few weeks now and I am becoming more familiar and comfortable with WordPress. I’ve even transferred over the pages I have on my website to my site here.

I’m contemplating cancelling my Wix subscription and using my site here on WordPress as my website address.

Does this sound like a reasonable thing to do?
